Capital Market Players Take Financing Opportunities Closer to Businesses Across Rwanda

Rwanda’s capital market players, in partnership with the Private Sector Federation (PSF) launched the second edition of the Capital Markets Roadshows 2026 to help businesses access long-term financing, expand operations and contribute to economic growth.

Running from 27 October to 25 November, the roadshows bring together entrepreneurs and capital market professionals to explore how companies can raise funds through shares and corporate bonds.

Organised by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), in collaboration with PSF, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE), RNIT, BK Capital and licensed intermediaries, the initiative also provides practical guidance on corporate governance, financial reporting and business readiness.

The Chief Executive Officer of CMA, Romeo Ngarambe emphasised the importance of connecting businesses with financing opportunities. He noted “These roadshows provide an opportunity to engage directly with businesses, help them understand how they can raise long-term capital through shares and corporate bonds,” Ngarambe said.

Speaking in Rubavu District the Governor of the Western Province Governor Jean Bosco Ntibitura encouraged entrepreneurs to leverage capital market opportunities. He said that “I encourage entrepreneurs to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the capital market, develop viable projects that can attract investors, expand their businesses and create more jobs.”

Following engagements in Rusizi and Rubavu, the roadshows will continue in Musanze, Muhanga, Nyagatare and Kigali, with a focus on preparing more Rwandan enterprises to raise capital through the markets.
